WMM Mission Trip Opportunity – Nairobi, Kenya – January 2010

January 11-20 of 2010, the World Music Mission will be leading a trip to Nairobi, Kenya to lead worship at a retreat for missionaries in the field in Sudan.

The team currently consists of three musician/worship leaders who will also be providing tech and AV support for the conference. We would love to take more folks along if possible. Especially suited would be folks who sing and play an instrument, but anyone with a heart for the trip will be considered.

The cost of the trip will be just under $2000 and the funds would need to be raised by the middle of December. WMM will help as much aswe can, but our funds are certainly limited.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, please contact Brent Cundall at Christ Community Church as soon as possible. Phone – 615-428-2292

Caribbean Night At CCC

The WMM folks were out in force on June 25th, 2008 as they presented a Caribbean Night concert to raise money and awareness for the CCC Youth Mission trip to Jamaica.

WMM regulars Kurt Coble and Brent & Temple Cundall were joined by Damon Seale, Steve Bishop and Todd Cantrell for a lively evening of reggae, latin and island music. Jerk chicken was served for dinner and folks brought their beach blankets to spread out on the Fellowship Hall floor.

Over $100 was raised for the Jamaica mission, as the sounds of island music filled the air, causing many in the crowd to move their feet. It was another great night of fellowship for a good cause, and the World Music Mission was proud to be a part of it.

Thanks to everyone that came out! See you next time…
